Labor and Delivery Shoot - H Family

It was such a joy to be with a friend as she and her husband prepared to welcome two beautiful boys to their family!  38 hours of being in the hospital takes it's toll, but at least the final hour and a half brought the twins.

C had an incredible amount of support.  Here she is with her two sisters.

Having her water break was such a big deal!

The boys were very closely monitored all through labor.

Dad was super supportive and always ready to be where and what C needed.

So many visitors made their guesses as to the boys' weights.  Ultimately, we were all wrong, since we all thought the first baby born, M, would be bigger, but baby B surprised us all.

While I was unable to attend the deliver due to risks and C needing to be in the OR, this was our first mini glimpse of her, happily crying over the boys snuggled up to her.

Proud grandma, proud mama.

Baby B got finished with measurements in the room.

Baby M took his time learning to nurse and got TLC with mama.

Such a happy little miracle family!

Baby B, snuggled up, but with a rebellious little hand sneaking out.

Baby M, content to sleep in mama's arms.

Two clean little boys, wrapped up close to mama.

Baby B, several hours later.  I adore his precious cheeks!

Baby M, refusing to sleep until he's with mama.

C snuggling up with M, trying to encourage him to nurse.  Little doll gets ready in position, and promptly falls asleep.

B is wearing "worth the wait", while M's says, "answered prayers".

Paternal grandparents each get a snuggle.  Grandma has B, and Grandpa has M.

Maternal grandma proudly holds both boys.

In the last few hours of pregnancy vs. finally holding the precious babies.

Mama and her boys.
